Found all over London & the home counties a full red brick that sometimes has a black fleck on the face coursed by the peat content in the clay which turns black when the brick was fired. The colour often varies from a light red to a dark plum red.

Found all over London & the home counties very similar to a yellow-multi but with strong black and purple flashes over the face. 9’’x 2 5/8’’x 4 1/4’’

Wirecut
Found all over London & the home counties a solid class b engineering brick can run from very light red to a dark red in colour called a wire-cut because of the faint lines running over the face that gives the appearance that the brick has been cut with a fine cheese wire. Suitable for paving.
