Red Stock
Found all over London & the home counties a full red brick that sometimes has a black fleck on the face coursed by the peat content in the clay which turns black when the brick was fired. The colour often varies from a light red to a dark plum red.

Dark Multi
Found all over London & the home counties very similar to a yellow-multi but with strong black and purple flashes over the face. 9’’x 2 5/8’’x 4 1/4’’

Wirecut
Found all over London & the home counties a solid class b engineering brick can run from very light red to a dark red in colour called a wire-cut because of the faint lines running over the face that gives the appearance that the brick has been cut with a fine cheese wire. Suitable for paving.

Yellow Stock
Found all over London and the home counties a full yellow brick that sometimes has a black fleck on the face coursed by the peat content in the clay which turns black when the brick was fired, The colour often varies from a very bright yellow to a dark mustard yellow.

Plain-Gault / Cambridge White
P.O.A Found all over London & the home counties but predominately used in the North & North West of London the brick can be solid, shallow frog or have 21 holes. The face is smooth & can run from a bright colour to an off white creamy colour gaults are a class b engineering brick & are suitable for paving.

Yellow Multi
Found all over London & the home counties when the brick was originally produced it had the same appearance as a yellow-stock but because the brick is a red clay brick rolled in yellow brick dust as the years go by the yellow face wears off in places and the brick face starts to turn pink and red but with a yellow tinge running over the face.

Soft Reds / Red Rubber (Reclaimed)
Found all over London & home counties soft-reds can have a very smooth face of a slight crease running to a very textured face the colour can run from very light red to dark red, used mainly for finishing in soldier course work or similar, soft-reds can be very ornate in designs. The term red rubber comes from the fact that you can rub ornate patterns in to the face of the brick with specialist brick files. Not suitable for paving.

Tudor Reds
P.O.A Tudor reds are available in two shades, either a medium red or a dark red. Tudors have an unusual 2" face, and are used all over the country, especially in French style building projects.

Mix-Stock
Found all over London and the home counties, mix stocks 80% of the bricks in a pack will be red-stocks and 20% will be yellow-stocks. 9’’x 2 5/8’’x 4 1/4’’
