How do I send my photos to you?
You can send photos to us via email brick@brickmerchant.co.uk For brick matching The Brick Merchant require an image of a wall (approximately 20 bricks), a close up of one brick and the brick dimensions.
Do you sell to the general public or just to builders?
Yes, The Brick Merchant deal with all members of the public as well as the building trade.
Does The Brick Merchant have minimum orders?
No, The Brick Merchant can supply any quantity of bricks required, to any location within the UK.
How do I pay for my order?
The Brick Merchant accepts all major and debit cards
BACS
BACS payments can be completed by calling customer services on 0121 210 5290.
Credit/Debit Cards
Credit/debit card payments can be completed by calling our sales department.
All card transactions are securely processed through HSBC and there is a surcharge of 4.2% on all cards. This will be added to the cost of the order automatically. Orders will only be sent once The Brick Merchant have received cleared funds. Before any order is complete, the customer must provide proof of Identity
How soon can I have my order delivered?
The Brick Merchant can deliver within 3-5 working days of your order being placed.
Can I have a Saturday delivery?
The Brick Merchant can do Saturday deliveries. Deliveries are made before 12.30pm and are subject to an additional charge.
I left site on the day of delivery and returned to find my bricks had not been left?
Customers are required to be on site when delivery is expected, as the order needs to be signed for. If there is no one on site the bricks will be taken back to the yard and you maybe subject to an additional charge for re-delivery.
What happens if I have broken bricks in the pallet?
When working out the quantity you need, make an allowance for broken bricks. We can and will exchange the broken bricks free of charge in cases where they are damaged due to packaging etc, however there may be a charge depending upon your location or quantity of bricks that need replacing. You must notify us within 3 working days of any and all issues relating to the order.
My order is short, what do I do?
This is a very, very rare occurrence and if it ever does occur it be considered if we receive notification of such shortage within three days of delivery, but not otherwise.
What else do I need to know?
When you have placed your order, we will confirm the details within 24/36 hours.
If the delivery address is outside of the M25 please contact us for a delivery cost, as this will need to be settled before delivery.
If you require a Saturday delivery please contact The Brick Merchant as Saturday deliveries are subject to an additional charge.
You are required to sign for your delivery, if you are not on site at the time of delivery your order WILL be returned to the yard and you may incur a re-delivery charge. No deliveries will be made to or signed for by a third party. All deliveries must be signed for by the cardholder before being released.
Goods will only be sent on receipt of cleared funds and identification. Please be aware that credit cards can take up to 4 working days to transfer funds.
All orders will be confirmed to a landline number, we will never despatch an order with only a mobile number as a reference.
Once the order is accepted, we will not be able to change the delivery address.
We highly recommend that a site survey is carried out or samples are ordered prior to placing an order. In the event that the bricks ordered do not meet your requirements, we cannot accept liability or have the items returned for credit or replacement where the customer declined a site survey or samples.
